“Cooperation with Pakettipiste has allowed us to improve our logistics considerably. Shipments are picked up from our warehouse at Seinäjoki in the evening and delivered to our customers across the country early next morning. Rengastien Autotarvike Oy is a family-owned business established in 1993 and headquartered in Seinäjoki. The company also includes Auto-Bilman in Vaasa and Korpi-Auto in Kajaani. Its customers are located all over Finland and include both consumers and hundreds of automotive companies from spare part retailers and repair shops to car dealers and small appliance repair services.

“The market for car spare parts has seen some major changes which we have been able to navigate very well. Lots of new entrepreneurs have entered the Finnish market, but not everyone has been able to adapt to the changes. We have persistently developed all aspects of our business and reacted quickly to changes. This has brought us solid and steady growth in recent years. Improving logistics has been one of our priorities, and we have succeeded well, thanks to our great partners,” says Jan Koskela, the Chief Executive Officer of Rengastien Autotarvike.

Rengastien Autotarvike has expanded in recent years: they have hired new employees and seen an increase in shipment volumes.

“It is hard to say where our competitors are at exactly, but it seems we have done something right. While we have been constantly hiring more workforce, many of our competitors have been faced with change negotiations,” says Koskela.

As Rengastien Autotarvike expanded its operations, it needed to identify the logistics companies available. The company researched their options extensively before settling into a decision.
