We are still on that same path we took all those years ago. To this day, we continue to deliver print media to people in the early hours of morning. Today our delivery services include more parcels than ever.

Pakettipiste is part of Lehtipiste, a group with a history that goes all the way back to 1910. That was when Rautatiekirjakauppa Oy was established to deliver and sell newspapers and magazines at railway stations. The company later changed its name to Rautakirja Oy.

The first venues with license to sell newspapers, periodicals and literature in Finland were located at railway stations. This grew to include shopkeepers and retailers in the 1920s. The name Lehtipiste was registered in 1968 with Lehtijakelu becoming its own line of business within the Rautakirja organisation.

Currently, Lehtipiste Oy is owned by Tradeka Group that is responsible for the corporate governance of Cooperative Tradeka’s core business. Originally operating in the trade of daily consumer goods, Cooperative Tradeka was established 1917. Boosted by 225,000 members, the cooperative is guided by its main principle, ‘meaningful ownership’. In addition to Lehtipiste Oy, the cooperative owns Tradeka-sijoitus Oy, Restel Oy and Med Group Oy.

Lehtipiste’s national delivery network includes 4,100 locations where single-issue copies, collectors’ items, paperbacks, maps and other items are delivered early in the morning. Card manufacturers Suomen Korttipiste Oy and Putinki Oy are all part of the Lehtipiste Group which has approximately 200 employees. In 2022, its revenue was 94,3 million euros.

In recent years, Lehtipiste has invested heavily in parcel deliveries, building a growing parcel point network under the moniker Pakettipiste. We specifically focus on deliveries for online stores, and on time-critical transport for automotive and healthcare industries.

The first shared parcel point opened in 2018. Since then, the growing network of parcel points has expanded to include over 200 locations and 700 points. We are invested in our customers and committed to providing customized services.
