Pakettipiste Day Express

Purpose of service product

• Shipments for business clients between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to your customer’s address on the next business day from pick-up.

Parcel weight and dimensions

• Parcel maximum weight: 35 kg
• Parcel maximum size: length 100 cm + width 60 cm + height 60 cm
  • With the additional ‘Separate handling’ service, maximum available length of parcel’s longest side is 200 cm
• Package maximum volume: 0.36 m³
  • With the additional ‘Separate handling’ service, maximum volume is 0.50 m³

Pricing

• Parcel shipments: €/shipment + €/kg
  • Maximum 10 parcels per shipment, separate shipment for any extra parcels
  • For parcel shipments, pricing is based on measured weight or volume weight (width × length × height × 250 kg), whichever is higher. Minimum chargeable weight 1 kg, chargeable weight rounded up to next kilogram.
• Transportation in transport units: €/transport unit depending on the unit’s transport unit type and transportation zone
• Additional ‘Separate handling’ service with an additional fee of +50% added to shipment price

Service promise

• Delivery on the next business day between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. from the date of Pakettipiste assuming possession of the shipment.

  • Each transport unit in the shipment requires a label indicating ‘Fragile’ shipment
  • Fragile shipments require extra careful packing
  • Pakettipiste is not bound by any information provided in factory labels
  • The additional ‘Fragile’ service does not increase Pakettipiste’s liability for damages nor does it release the sender from liability concerning, for instance, adequate packing

• Separate handling
  • In any integrations, shipment of an oversized transport unit is designated with the additional ‘Separate handling’ service
  • The additional ‘Separate handling’ service is charged if just one dimension of one parcel in the shipment exceeds the maximum size of 100 cm × 60 cm × 60 cm
  • The additional ‘Separate handling’ service is charged if just one parcel in the shipment exceeds the maximum volume of 0.36 m³
  • The additional ‘Separate handling’ service is charged if a shipment item is larger than the base area of the transport unit
  • The additional ‘Separate handling’ service is charged if just one parcel or transport unit in the shipment contains liquids
  • Pakettipiste reserves the right to measure transport units and, if a transport unit’s maximum size or volume are exceeded, designate the client’s shipment with the additional ‘Separate handling’ service

Service limitations

• Pakettipiste does not transport products classified as dangerous goods.
• Pakettipiste does not transport firearms or parts or supplies thereof, cartridges or dangerous ammunition.
• Pakettipiste does not transport living or dead animals, animal parts or flora.
• Pakettipiste does not transport currency, bonds, jewellery, precious metals, precious metal jewellery, pearls or works of art.
• Pakettipiste does not transport food or other perishable goods unless separately agreed upon with Pakettipiste.
